Terrors Creek

Terrors Creek bouldering area is located 5 minutes out of Daybourough. There is not a huge amount of bouldering there, however there is one or two outstanding routes for the hard men and women out there.

Directions

From Dayborough, head north on Mt Mee Rd until it crosses Terrors Creek over George Juff Bridge (maybe Geouge Juffs Bridge). The bridge is approximately a kilometer or two after the intersection of Mt Mee Rd and Ocean View Rd. There is a pull-off on the right hand side just after the bridge. Park the car and walk back over the bridge back towards Dayborough. As you walk over the bridge, there will be a track on your right that will head downhill down the creek. Approximately 100 meters down the creek will be the bouldering. The bouldering area is not large and only goes for a further couple of hundred meters down the creek.

The Problems

There are around 15 problems in this area. Most problems are shortish problems on scattered boulders in the creek bed. The longer problems of the crag (and probably the highlight of the area) are on the steep rear face of a larger boulder at the start of the area. There is one obvious 3 star line that begins as a sit start on some desperate crimps, then traverses left for about 5 moves before launching out a massive dyno through a prominent prow.
